Respuestas cortas

Las respuestas cortas en inglés se construyen usando el pronombre (I, you, he, she, it, we, o they) y el verbo auxiliar («to be» o «to do» en nuestro caso). Es más decente usar las respuestas cortas que simplemente contestar «sí» o «no».

Ejemplos

Is Mary home? No She isn't  (Con el verbo «to be» - Si la respuesta ea negativa usamos «No» + Pronombre («She» en lugar de «Mary») y el verbo  auxiliar abreviado («isn't », en lugar de «is not» en este caso en tercera persona singular).
